We’re seeking your feedback on our Public Health and Community Wellbeing Framework 2021-2026. This is a strategic document that demonstrates our strong and ongoing commitment to supporting and improving the health and wellbeing of the people who live, work, study and play here in PAE.

So many factors contribute to our health and wellbeing, and these factors are complex and interrelated. Because we define wellbeing in a broad and holistic way, this document brings together relevant activities from across several existing PAE plans. These include our Active Recreation Facilities Plan, the Living Environment Strategy 2022, our Animal Management Plan 2018-2023 and our Inclusive Communities Plan 2019-2024.

The Public Health and Community Wellbeing Framework 2021-2026 also proposes new strategies to address gaps in our work. The plan outlines new strategies about how we will deliver new programs to improve social connection, create opportunities for youth leadership and take steps to improve community safety among others. We particularly want to hear your ideas about these new strategies, and if there is anything you think we have missed.
